Where has the last 6 years gone? 🎉🎊
When I decided to create Barth Consulting back in 2016 I didn’t have a plan I just knew that I wanted to leave the corporate world, and choose who I worked for. More local businesses, SME’s, first time property owners and their advisors, weather it be accountants, Solicitors, Asset managers or FM’s.
I became a SME overnight too! Being a business owner, I am also now head of finance, head of marketing, head of BD, lead client liaison, I am HR and I do all the claim delivery.
Whilst each day has its challenges because of the many hats I have to wear having my own business has given me better insight into what other businesses face each day.
I can see the barriers and the hurdles, and I understand their frustrations, but I also feel their joy when I have successfully helped them save money. Small businesses feel the savings I can bring them in their back pockets. There are few greater thrills in business than taking money off HMRC and that’s what I get to do every day for my clients, in and around Luton in Bedfordshire and across the UK.
This anniversary also takes me to a whopping 25 years as a capital allowances expert. That’s a whole load of tax saved, surveys completed and looking into rooms marked private.
